Modern Day ABA

Hi, my name is Sara, and I'm a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I publish online content about applied behavior analysis (ABA) and how it can be used to help children with autism. This includes my YouTube Channel, as well as the ABA curriculum, Sisu Skills.

I also proudly serve the Oklahoma community as the President of the Oklahoma Association for Behavior Analysis (OKABA), as a Member of the Oklahoma Licensed Behavior Analyst Board, and by providing ABA therapy services to children with autism.

"Sisu" is the Finnish word for determination. Sisu is key to a caregiver's role in teaching and nurturing their learner.

I've designed this assessment and curriculum package so that caregivers can feel empowered to teach their children themselves, with support from a behavior analyst. Behavior analysts can use Sisu Skills to train caregivers to use the techniques of applied behavior analysis (ABA), so that they can in turn teach and positively reinforce self-help skills, communication, play skills, social skills, and more.
